Ohio House of Representatives Finance Committee Announces Amended Pro-Life State Operating Budget

COLUMBUS, Ohio— Today, The Ohio House Finance Committee released the amended State Operating Budget. Several of the amendments included are Ohio Right to Life legislative initiatives. These include:
10 million per fiscal year to the Ohio Parenting and Pregnancy Fund;
Up to 750-dollar tax credit for donations to Pregnancy Resource Centers;
Public electronic dashboard for the abortion report;
Maintained funding to the Adoption Grant Program, and
500,000 dollars per fiscal year to Maternal and Infant Housing Assistance.
“Thank you to the Speaker of the House Matt Huffman, and House Finance Chairman Brian Stewart for recognizing the desperate need to support moms, babies and families in Ohio,” said Ohio Right to Life Director of Legislative Affairs, Emma Martinez. “This version of the budget demonstrates the state’s commitment to uplift our most vulnerable citizens to grow and thrive.”
