Columbus, Ohio – Today, the Board of Trustees of Ohio Right to Life is pleased to announce that Carrie Snyder has stepped into the role of Executive Director with Mike Gonidakis’s departure as President of Ohio Right to Life. The Board wishes to thank Mr. Gonidakis for his 17 years of excellent service leading the organization.
Ms. Snyder enters the role of Executive Director after serving on the Board of Trustees of Ohio Right to Life for over 15 years. She has also been deeply involved with local affiliate work in Wayne County where she has lived with her family for 20 years, although she was born and raised in Michigan. Ms. Snyder is the mother of nine children, a third of which were added via foster care-turned-adoption. Children and families in need have always been close to her heart and Ms. Snyder has a long history of volunteering in foster care, the school system, Girl Scouts, drug abuse prevention, and through her church’s ministries.
“I am incredibly excited and honored to be given the opportunity to lead an organization that is doing such important work across the state,” said Ms. Snyder. “I look forward to the educational and legislative opportunities ahead to inform and protect Ohioans as we work to create a safe future for vulnerable women and children.”
The Board looks forward to this next chapter of growth for Ohio Right to Life and welcomes supporters to join our movement in protecting innocent human life at every stage. Ohio Right to Life can be found online at ohiolife.org for further information, donation options, and sign-up opportunities to join our email list or volunteer.
