COLUMBUS, Ohio—Today, Ohio Right to Life announced the first ever Ohio Senate Pro-Life Caucus. The Pro-Life Caucus will work directly with Ohio Right to Life, Pregnancy Centers and other pro-life non-profits to advance life affirming strategies to help moms and babies.
Senator Michele Reynolds graciously agreed to serve as Chair of the Caucus. Members of Caucus include Senators Kristina Roegner, Jane Timken, and Sandy O’Brien.
The Caucus will lead the effort to identify common sense and compassionate solutions, legislation, and approaches to help women, children, and families. Ohio Right to Life is thankful to our Senators for their pro-life leadership and willingness to serve as a voice for the voiceless.
“Our all-women pro-life Caucus is uniquely qualified to address the needs of mothers in crisis,” said Senator Michele Reynolds. “I am excited to lead this caucus in pursuing practical improvements for families in Ohio. Now is the time to take action through the legislature and with partnerships in the non-profit and private sector arena to ensure the strongest social service safety net exists for those moms and babies in need. I look forward to working with Ohio Right to Life and their partners.”
“On behalf of Ohio Right to Life and our statewide membership we offer sincere gratitude and appreciation to Senator Reynolds and our pro-life members of this new Caucus,” said Mike Gonidakis, President of Ohio Right to Life. “Our strategic alliance will save lives, improve health outcomes for pregnant women and ensure more children are born in a safe and healthy environment.”
