COLUMBUS, Ohio—Today, Ohio Right to Life released the story of Lauran Bunting, an Ohio mom who at the age of 17 was pressured to have an abortion but chose life.

November 7th is just 7 days away, and Planned Parenthood and the ACLU are working overtime to pass Issue 1, which would legalize painful abortion up to the very moment of birth here in Ohio. Issue 1, if it passes, will also eliminate a parent’s right to know if their underage child is considering an abortion or even sex change operation.

Lauran’s daughter, Isabella, now 14-years-old, joined Lauren to share her story as well and talk about why she is so glad her mom chose life.

“Lauran’s story illustrates the unique and unrepeatable beauty of every life. Lauran, who was pressured to have an abortion, courageously chose life, and the result is her exuberant daughter, Isabella,” said Peter Range, CEO of Ohio Right to Life. “Every life is precious, and Lauran and Isabella are a reminder to all Ohioans that life is precious and worth protecting, even in difficult circumstances. We urge Ohioans to vote no on Issue 1 to protect the preborn and give life a chance!”
