COLUMBUS, Ohio— Yesterday, The Trump administration announced plans to freeze millions of dollars in family-planning grants to the nation’s largest abortion provider. Planned Parenthood will be greatly impacted, halting $20 million in federal funding to their company, according to The Wall Street Journal.

“Ohio Right to Life is grateful that President Trump and Vice President Vance continue to support the sanctity of life while also recognizing the corrupt business practices of Planned Parenthood. Simply put, American tax dollars should not fund abortion,” said Mike Gonidakis, President of Ohio Right to Life. “Fifteen Ohio Planned Parenthood offices in Ohio will be impacted by this freeze and two of those facilities are surgical abortion facilities. This is a victory for the unborn and for all Americas taxpayers who have been forced to fund the deaths of innocent lives. We applaud the Trump administration for taking this bold action and look forward to further policies that defend the right to life.”
