2018 March for Life Recap
Every year, tens of thousands of pro-lifers from all across the country gather together, united in their mission: to give a voice to the voiceless, and to protest Roe v. Wade. For 45 years, the March for Life has encouraged and activated people to further the cause of life, in Washington, D.C. and at home. This year was no exception.
This year, activists were further energized by our own pro-life president. “Under my administration, we will always defend the very first right in the Declaration of Independence, and that is the right to life.” With these words, President Trump made history, being the first sitting president to address the March for Life. His administration has consistently promoted the value and dignity of human life, and for that we are grateful.
While at the march, we had the privilege of meeting up with pro-life Ohioans, many of whom carried our “We Are Pro-Life Ohio” signs. We marched with U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, and cohosted a reception for Ohioans with Sen. Portman and Congressman Jim Jordan. We attended the March for Life Conference & Expo and the Family Research Council’s Digital Pro-Life Con. We came back encouraged and inspired by what we saw in Washington.

The theme of this year’s march was Love Saves Lives, but even more so, it is evident that this is the theme of the pro-life movement. The compassionate care that people across the movement express, not only to unborn babies, but also to their mothers, is astounding.
Life-saving love is an aspect of the culture of life that we continually fight for in Ohio. We cannot continue in this fight without your support. If you are willing, will you continue to fight with us and give $25, $50, or $100 to Ohio Right to Life today?
Thank you for how you have prayerfully and financially supported us. Your partnership continues to help us change hearts and minds across Ohio, with the ultimate goal of abolishing abortion. Until then, we march on…
For Life,
