COLUMBUS, Ohio–Today, the Ohio Right to Life PAC announced its first endorsements for the November 2020 elections. The PAC issued endorsements of candidates for Congress, the Ohio Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeals. This marks the first time that the Ohio Right to Life PAC has endorsed Court of Appeals candidates in a general election.
“With Roe v. Wade on the ropes, the importance of electing strong, pro-life leaders in all levels of governance is more urgent than ever before,” said Mike Gonidakis, President of Ohio Right to Life. “From Congress to Ohio’s courts, it is imperative for pro-life Ohio to elect these strong pro-life leaders who will serve justly and protect the most vulnerable among us. Elections have consequences, and we are incredibly aware of the importance of the November election for the continued forward progress of the pro-life movement in Ohio and beyond.”
“In light of this urgency to protect life,” said Gonidakis, “the Ohio Right to Life PAC encourages every pro-life Ohioan to turnout in November and use their vote to be a voice for the voiceless. This is our opportunity to tip the scale toward protecting innocent lives for generations to come.”
So far, Ohio Right to Life PAC has endorsed, recommended or preferred over twenty candidates for the November 3rd general election. Although these candidates hail from all corners of the state, they share a common respect for the inherent dignity of every human person, both born and unborn. During the primary, an overwhelming majority of the candidates endorsed by the Ohio Right to Life PAC won their races.
“The Ohio Right to Life PAC is proud to recommend Justice Judi French and Justice Sharon Kennedy for Ohio’s Supreme Court,” said Marshal Pitchford, chairman of the Ohio Right to Life PAC. “It is crucial for the pro-life movement that we have a Court that will ensure that the fundamental right to life of every person is upheld. We look forward to working to elect these strong pro-life women and the rest of our inspiring pro-life candidates to promote and protect life across our great state.”
