COLUMBUS, Ohio- According to the recent Rasmussen report, fewer Americans identify as “pro-choice” than ever before. The report further shows that while the pro-choice number is shrinking, the pro-life number is growing.
“This is yet another example of where Americans truly stand on life issues. Despite the loud, deceptive cries from the abortion industry, their lies clearly are not effecting Americans as shown by the shrinking pro-choice numbers,” said President of Ohio Right to Life Mike Gonidakis.
“This poll arrives on the heels of the latest Gallup Poll, which proved that the majority of American women want virtually all abortions banned. Based on where the majority of Americans stand, it should come as no surprise to the abortion industry to see their support base diminish,” continues Gonidakis, “It’s not surprising that in light of science, evidence and technology the pro-life movement is growing.”
Founded in 1967, Ohio Right to Life, with more than 45 local chapters, is Ohio’s oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization. Recognized as the flagship of the pro-life movement in Ohio, ORTL works through legislation and education to promote and defend innocent human life from conception to natural death.
