Let Freedom Ring
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
These words, though written over 200 years ago, seem to ring truer and more urgently than ever before. The battle to uphold the inherent dignity of all Americans and to protect and preserve their right to life, is one that people of conscience across our nation have waged for centuries, and still do today.
Freedom, that precious gift, isn’t free- but the American desire to see it extended to everyone created in the image of God- is priceless. Whether born or unborn, we believe every life is worthy of protection- from conception to natural death.
This is what it means to be truly American. To affirm the God-given, unique, and invaluable worth of each and every human life. To speak up to ensure that everyone’s right to life, is cherished, respected, and upheld under law. To extend the blessings of liberty to all of us, regardless of age or ability.
This is the spirit of America. We are, and have always been, a nation of freedom fighters. And this is why, on this Independence Day, we reaffirm our commitment to never stop working until the right to life, the first and most important right, is acknowledged and respected in every American, both born and unborn.
We pray that as we work towards this goal, God would bless our great nation and every American, who with a true heart, fights for the freedom that God has so graciously granted.
