Ohio Protests Planned Parenthood!
This past weekend, Ohioans took a stand against Planned Parenthood in 11 locations across the state.
Over the last month, pro-life groups across the country started taking grassroots activism to a new level, declaring August 22 a day to protest against America’s abortion giant, Planned Parenthood. What resulted were over 300 protests with over 60,000 participants nationwide! The four main sponsors of the protests were: Created Equal, the Pro-Life Action League, 40 Days for Life, and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society.
Ohio Right to Life chapters and affiliates, along with many other pro-life organizations, co-sponsored rallies across the state. I had the honor of speaking at Created Equal’s protest in Columbus, and Kayla, our director of external affairs, spoke at Right to Life of Northeast Ohio’s protest in Akron. Between the two locations, there were about 1,200 people! And down in Cincinnati, Greater Cincinnati Right to Life had a crowd of 1,000 people!
Here are some pictures from the numerous events across the state. If you have others that you would like to share, post them to our Facebook wall or Tweet them to us using the handle @ohiolife. Let’s keep the momentum going!
