One Pro-Life Action You Can Take TODAY
Dear Friend,
Here’s one pro-life action step you can take today! The federal Department of Health and Human Services is considering taking action to protect conscience rights of healthcare providers, and we need pro-life voices to speak out! Our friends at SBA List provide details and convenient links below. Follow the links below to add your support for these important pro-life protections for healthcare providers.
Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood continues to protect their abortion agenda over focusing on the healthcare needs of Ohioans by refusing to comply with the new Title X rules. Faced with the choice to stop performing abortions or continue to receive $60 million to provide medical services, Planned Parenthood chose instead to double-down on their abortion business. We’ve been busy continuing to tell the truth about Planned Parenthood’s abortion – not healthcare – agenda. Check out our recent op-ed in the Columbus Dispatch here.
The deadline for commenting on the pro-life Health and Human Services provision ends tomorrow, so don’t forget to follow the links below. Thank you for using your voice on behalf of those who can’t speak for themselves.

Allie, President Trump continues to deliver on his campaign promise to govern as a pro-life president. His latest pro-life action was to instruct his Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to issue a new rule rolling back a pro-abortion measure introduced by the Obama administration. In 2016 the Obama administration issued a regulation designed to reinterpret civil rights law in a way that could force insurance providers, hospitals, doctors and nurses to participate in abortions against their will. But before President Trump’s pro-life rule can go into effect, HHS must conduct a public comment period. Submit Your Official Comment Now We know that Planned Parenthood and the Big Abortion Lobby are desperately trying to stop President Trump’s new pro-life rule, and are doing everything they can to flood HHS with negative comments. That’s why it’s so important that you submit your official comment today to go on the record in support of this important pro-life rule. A little more background on the bad Obama-era regulation: In a convoluted way, it stated that health care providers would not be allowed to discriminate based on termination of pregnancy. They did this by broadly defining “discrimination on the basis of sex” to include “termination of pregnancy,” which could then mean health care providers who receive federal funds must carry out abortions. Note, Obama’s regulation did not include conscience protections that exist in law and are explicitly protected in Obamacare. Instead they cherry-picked and expanded the pro-abortion language they liked, while leaving conscience protections on the cutting room floor. Thankfully, the Trump administration is correcting the bad Obama regulation by proposing a new one. Under the new Trump regulation, there are no new definitions of “discrimination on the basis of sex” and important conscience protections like the Weldon amendment and others are explicitly applied… …and that’s where you come in. When the administration proposes a new regulation, they are required to consider public comments before making it final. The Trump administration needs to hear from you THIS WEEK! The deadline to submit your comment is this coming Tuesday, August 13. Please don’t delay – use our easy online tool and submit your comment right now. I’m so grateful for your pro-life activism!
