Pregnancy and COVID-19: Your Questions Answered!
Every pregnancy comes with a lot of questions- now more than ever. With the COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally changing healthcare and bringing with it a host of unanswered questions, many women may be left wondering how COVID-19 affects her pregnancy: her health, her baby’s health, or the care she can expect to receive. Ohio Right to Life set out to find the answers, and we have a podcast to share what we learned!
Last week, Dr. Tara Sander Lee, Senior Fellow and Director of Life Sciences with the Charlotte Lozier Institute, took the time to talk with Ohio Right to Life’s Vice President Stephanie Ranade Krider on COVID-19 and pregnancy. Dr. Sander Lee is closely watching the research to monitor how the coronavirus is impacting both pregnant women and their unborn babies. She recently wrote “8 Reasons for Hope: Coronavirus (COVID-19) & Pregnancy.” Dr. Sander Lee sheds light on a lot of unanswered questions, including whether or not pregnant women are at a greater risk for serious COVID-19 cases.
Stephanie was also able to talk Madeline Pesavento, Director of Women’s Care Center. Madeline shared the ways that Women’s Care Center is going above and beyond to make sure that women and their families are supported and safe during these uncertain times.
